Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay to Close, Moxy Hotel by Marriott International to Open in Singapore by 2025
City Developments Limited (CDL), CapitaLand and Ascott Residence Trust (Ascott Reit) have unveiled redevelopment plans for the exisiting Liang Court site in Clarke Quay. Comprising of the Liang Court Mall, Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay and Somerset Liang Court Singapore, the site is expected to make way for a new mixed-used development which will comprise of two residential towers, a new Moxy-branded property and a serviced residence with the same Somerset branding.

The mixed-use project is expected to open in phases from 2024 but the hotel is expected to complete only in 2025. There are currently 46 Moxy Hotels in the world but there are 104 properties in the pipeline - the brand new Moxy property (which will be the first of its kind in Singapore) is expected to have 460 to 475 rooms.
