Emirates to Launch Daily Flights between Singapore and Penang (with First and Business Class) from 9 April 2020
Starting from 09 April 2020, Emirates will be operating a new daily service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Penang International Airport (PEN) via Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). This route will be operated by an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a three-class configuration.
Penang will become Emirates’ second destination in Malaysia after Kuala Lumpur served by three flights daily since 1996. The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will feature eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 304 spacious seats in Economy Class. The new route enables travellers from the Northern cities of Malaysia to enjoy convenient onward connections from Dubai to destinations in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Qantas has finally put dates on its status overhaul. Rollovers and ground earning arrive 8 December 2026, Points Club and Green Tier are being retired, and Jetstar Classic Upgrades launch in September from 37,000 points.
