Chope Announces Redemption Suspension (until 3 November 2020) and Extension of Chope-Dollars
In view of the COVID-19 situation and the upcoming circuit breaker measures in Singapore, Chope will be suspending the most redemption options for their loyalty program, ChopePerks. From 03 April 2020 to 03 November 2020, members will not be able to redeem their ChopeDollars (except for charity and non-profit partners) for six months.
Members will continue to earn Chope-Dollars with each fulfilled reservation made during the aforementioned period (even though dining out will not be an option from 07 April 2020 to 04 May 2020 due to the new circuit breaker measures) and all Chope-Dollars that are expiring before 01 January 2021 will be extended - more information will follow. According to Chope, any redemptions that were made prior to 03 April 2020 will still be honoured.
Rewards that have been issued before 03 April 2020 can still be fulfilled at respective merchants so long are open but I am not certain whether the same conditions for the vouchers will apply (some vouchers explicitly exclude takeouts but I believe that would not be enforced during the circuit breaker periods). For enquiries on existing rewards, reach out to the Chope team at customersupport@chope.co.
