New Grab Foodie Pack Subscription at S$9.99 Per Month Coming Soon? Expect Monthly GrabFood Delivery Discount Vouchers!

It goes without saying that food delivery orders are at an all time high even in Phase 1 of Singapore's reopening. Last month, I wrote about 5 simple ways to save money on takeaway and delivery when you stack credit card promos and platform discounts. All major food delivery platforms used to have some kind of subscription but most of them have chosen to discontinue this during the circuit breaker period which lasted 8 weeks (understandable since demand has skyrocketed). Today, it appears that Grab Singapore will be launching a brand new Grab Food Pack subscription again soon at S$9.99 per month - targeted users have early (and discounted) access to it currently.

Under the early-bird special promotion, eligible Grab users will only have to pay S$5.99 (instead of S$9.99) for the Grab Foodie Pack which comes with the following inclusions:

• 30x S$4 Off GrabFood Delivery Vouchers (minimum spend of S$18 required) 

• 1x 20% Off GrabMart Voucher (capped at S$7 with minimum spend of S$18)

• 1x 20% off GrabExpress Voucher (capped at S$4)

From my understanding, only a select group of users who have been actively using GrabFood, have been targeted with this promotion. As you may already know, restaurants will soon be allowed to operate in Phase 2 of Singapore's reopening and therefore, the demand for food delivery may drop (even though I personally expect the demand to be significantly higher than before). Targeted users only have three days (11-13 June 2020) to sign-up for early access to the Grab Foodie Pack but it is expected for this new subscription to launch at a S$9.99 price point when it goes public.
