Travellers Entering Singapore from 18 June Will Be Tested for COVID-19 (Mandatory), Cost Will Be Bourne By Traveller
Singapore will finally move to Phase Two of its reopening on 19 June 2020 - more restrictions will be eased and most businesses (e.g. dining-in at restaurants, retail shops, and fitness studios), as well as social activities, will be allowed to resume. At the time of writing, staycations will not yet be allowed immediately at the start of Phase 2 (as some hotels are still operating as a dedicated facility for stay-home notices) but it is likely for properties to start taking reservations in the near future (more details will be provided when it becomes available).

Travelers entering Singapore from 18 June 2020 may choose to serve their SHN at home, instead of dedicated facilities. However, they will be subjected to a compulsory COVID-19 test towards the end of their SHN which they will have to bear the cost for. The new SHN rules will apply to all travelers entering Singapore from 11:59 PM on 17 June 2020 who had been in Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, mainland China, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam in the last consecutive 14 days before their entry.
Do note that Singaporeans who left Singapore from 27 March 2020 (despite the prevailing travel advisory) will have to bear the full cost of the 14-day SHN at a dedicated SHN facility (S$2,000). On 17 June 2020, the MOH announced that Singaporeans and permanent residents who left Singapore before an advisory against traveling out of the country was issued on 27 March 2020, and who are returning by 31 August 2020, will not have to pay for their COVID-19 tests.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
