United Airlines to Resume Nonstop Service (VTL Flights) Between Singapore and San Francisco from January 2022
United Airlines will be returning service to Singapore's Changi International Airport (SIN) from 5 January 2022 with nonstop flights between Singapore and San Francisco on selected days of the week. These flights will be in compliance with the Singapore Government's Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) program and it will be served by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which features the latest United Polaris Business Class seats.
United Airlines' Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner features 48 United Polaris Business Class seats, 21 United Premium Plus seats, 39 Economy Plus seats, and 149 United Economy seats. This announcement coincides with the strengthening of United’s relationship with Star partner, Singapore Airlines, which will provide codeshare connections to/from United’s services in the future.
Nonstop flights from Singapore to San Francisco on United Airlines will begin on 9 January 2022 and it will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Customers traveling from San Francisco will return to Singapore on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, beginning 5 January 2022. As a quick reminder, travellers under the VTL program will not need to under-go extended quarantine upon arrival at Singapore.
