The Standard, Singapore to open along Orange Grove Road (Near Orchard) in 2023
As part of The Standard's expansion into Asian markets, a brand new property in Singapore has been announced - The Standard, Singapore will become the city's newest social hub with its opening in 2023. Singapore is the brand's latest destination in Southeast Asia, following The Standard, Hua Hin (set to open in November 2021), and The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon (2022). The Standard, Singapore will be developed by Invictus Developments, a boutique real estate investment company owned by the family of Indonesian businessman Bachtiar Karim.
The Standard, Singapore will feature 143 rooms and it will be located along Orange Grove Road, across from the internationally-acclaimed Shangri-La Singapore. It will be one of the very few ground-up hotels that are built with close proximity to Orchard Road - Singapore's premier shopping destination. The area surrounding the hotel features a range of international and local brands that span across retail, dining, and entertainment establishments that are well patronised by both tourists as well as locals.
The Standard, Singapore is also a short walk from the celebrated UNESCO Singapore Botanical Gardens through the picturesque Nassim neighborhood. The hotel will feature The Standard’s signature restaurant and nightlife vibrancy, and arts and cultural programming along with an infinity pool and pool bar set within a lush botanical courtyard.
