Grand Hyatt Singapore Announces 2-Year Renovation Plan - Terrace Wing (Inc. Pool and Gym) to Close from 18 October 2021
The Grand Hyatt Singapore has just sent out a mailer to Club at the Hyatt (CATH) members regarding the hotel's renovation plans. Phase 1 of the renovation project will officially commence on 18 October 2021, and the Terrace Wing (which houses the swimming pool, spa, gym, Oasis, as well as the tennis and badminton courts) will be closed for renovation - the rest of the Grand Hyatt Singapore, as well as the other restaurants, will remain fully operational.

The overall renovation plan for the Grand Hyatt Singapore is expected to roll out over a two-year period with infrastructural and design upgrades in phases. The Terrace Wing will be relaunched as the wellness wing of the Grand Hyatt Singapore upon completion, with brand new spaces designed by NAO Taniyama Associates, alongside urban landscaping designed by Grant Associates.

With the closure of the Terrace Wing, the lead-in room category should see the removal of Economy and lead-in rooms from the inventory. Phase 1 of renovation is expected to span over 14 months and even though 18 October is the official start date for this phase, the last day of service for Oasis will be on 10 October 2021 (Sunday).
