Buy World of Hyatt Points at 25% Discount (1.8 cents per point) with Doubled Limit - until 19 January 2023
World of Hyatt members can typically purchase up to 55,000 points in a calendar year but the current sale will allow you to purchase up to 110,000 points (two times of the normal limit!). World of Hyatt is currently running a 25% discount on these point purchases until 19 January 2023 and this is a great opportunity to pick-up some points at 1.8 cents per points - not the cheapest but still a pretty good rate!

Prior to this sale, World of Hyatt was offering 25% bonus on point purchases (which works out to 20% discount effectively) so this sale is definitely a better one compared to that. There are plenty of sweet spots for World of Hyatt point redemptions - the Park Hyatt Kyoto is one of my favourite properties and my experience there last month was perfect. The property is a Category 8 property which means it will require 35,000 points for a free night during an off-peak day and up to 45,000 points for a free night on a peak day. Revenue rates at this property are pretty high and looking at a random weekend early next year will cost approximately ¥319,780 (including taxes) - this is around USD 2,420 based on the exchange rate today. Purchasing 35,000 World of Hyatt points will cost you only USD 630 (almost 75% cheaper) and even if you had to purchase 45,000 points for a free night, it will cost you only USD 810 (approximately 65% cheaper) if you do so during this 25% sale.
You will have to purchase at least 5,000 points between 19 December 2022 and 19 January 2023 ET to enjoy the 25% discount but do remember that the maximum number of points you can purchase is capped per calendar year (so you might want to do so before the end of 31 December 2022 in order to be able to purchase more points in 2023 if required). Other properties to consider using your World of Hyatt points for include the Alila Bangsar and Studios at Alila Seminyak (I have not stayed here yet, but I have stayed at the Alila Seminyak on multiple occasions and they share the same facilities) - they both require only 3,500 points (USD 63) on off-peak days. If you are based in Singapore, you may consider purchasing these points using an Amaze Card to avoid up to 3.5% of FX fees.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
