IHG One Rewards New Global Promotion - 2,000/10,000 Bonus Points Every Two/Four Nights (6 June to 31 August 2023)

IHG One Rewards has a brand new global promotion for all eligible stays consumed between 6 June 2023 and 31 August 2023 - members will get to choose between earning 2,000 bonus points every two nights, or 10,000 bonus points every four nights. Do note that registration for the offer is required and you will have to make a choice between one of the two aforementioned offers.

If you have plans to stay at least four nights with IHG during the promotional period, you will always be better off with the 10,000 bonus points offer. Do note that only paid nights with a room rate of at least USD 30 will qualify for this promotion - this means to say that redeeming four nights on points will not trigger the bonus points for this global promotion (even though they are elite-qualifying and will count towards earning and keeping your status).

While the value of IHG One Rewards points has fallen quite drastically over the years, earning 2,500 bonus points per night under this global promotion is a fairly good deal if you already have plans to stay with IHG. There is no limit to the number of bonus points you may earn under the You Choose promotion and personally, I will be taking advantage of this offer by stacking the 4th-night free benefit with my Citi Prestige Card for an upcoming trip.
