How to Attach Marriott Bonvoy Number to Luxury Travel Advisor Bookings (e.g. ClassicTravel.com)
Luxury travel advisor rates are a great way to get more bang for your buck (especially on short stays) - these exclusive benefits are only extended when you book through a Luxury Travel Advisor like HoteLux and ClassicTravel.com just to name a few and some of the best perks include a unique amenity (typically USD 100 property credit), upgrades, and complimentary breakfast regardless of your elite status (if any) with the loyalty program.
I have written an article previously about these luxury travel advisor rates and how you can book them online - in summary, some of these require an upfront fee, but you may also choose to book them with a free platform like ClassicTravel.com to enjoy the same benefits. Do note that contrary to popular belief, these rates are typically pegged to the best flexible rate, or the best available rate of the property, which means you will not be paying anything more for the associated benefits.
Last week, I wrote about an excellent deal at the The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok starting from just USD 441 for three nights which includes a USD 100 property credit. While this fantastic deal is not available to the public (meaning you cannot book it directly from the website or from Marriott.com), you can access it via a Luxury Travel Advisor like ClassicTravel.com which is also free of charge. As mentioned earlier, all eligible room rates booked via Luxury Travel Advisors are eligible for points and nights - this means to say that these stays count towards your status in loyalty programs. In the case of the The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, you will earn nights and points in the Marriott Bonvoy program so long you attach your Marriott Bonvoy membership number to your reservation before checking-out of the property.
Obviously, you may choose to attach your Marriott Bonvoy membership number at the property while checking-in to the hotel but some people believe in pre-upgrades and would therefore prefer to tie their membership number (especially if they already have elite status in the loyalty program) to the reservation prior to arrival. Depending on which platform you book these stays on, you may or may not be able to attach your membership number to the reservation at the time of booking - HoteLux allows you to do it (but you will have to pay for an annual membership) but if you use a free platform like ClassicTravel.com, you will have to attach your membership number after making the reservation.
Once you make your reservation on ClassicTravel.com, you will get a confirmation number which you can then use to 'Manage Reservation' on Marriott.com. By simply entering your confirmation number, date of check-in, first name, and last name, you will be able to attach your Marriott Bonvoy membership number to the reservation effortlessly.
Upon entering the relevant information on Marriott.com, you will be able to input your Marriott Bonvoy Member number to the reservation - simply enter your email address and membership number to save it.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
