New Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 1 Now Accepting Stay Reservations from 13 January 2025 - Near Phloen Chit BTS Station
There is a new Hyatt Place opening in Bangkok - Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 1 (not to be confused with the Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit near Phrom Phong) - and it has already started to accept stay reservations from 13 January 2025. The new Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 1 is located in the Watthana district and it is within walking distance of Nana and Phloen Chit BTS stations.

According to Google Maps, the Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 1 is approximately 10-min and 15-min walk away from Phloen Chit and Nana BTS stations respectively. All of the guestrooms (starting from 32 sqm in size) and suites at the 145-key property will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and plush pillowtop mattresses. The swiveling flat-screen smart HDTV with Chromecast will also make it convenient for visitors to stream content from their own personal devices to a larger screen.

For those planning to redeem their World of Hyatt points (which you should always consider purchasing during a sale when it makes financial sense), the Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 1 is a Category 1 property which means a free night starts from as little as 3,500 points per night (which you can buy at USD 67.20 during a sale). The standard room rates seem to start from THB 4,300 (approximately USD 146 after taxes) so using your points might be wise on off-peak days.

In recent years, Bangkok has seen a growing number of additions to Hyatt’s portfolio of hotels. While Hyatt completed its acquisition of Standard International and its iconic brands, The Standard and Bunkhouse Hotels, in October 2024, these properties currently do not offer any World of Hyatt benefits to members.
