Hyatt Regency West Hanoi to be Reflagged to Sheraton Hanoi West
The Hyatt Regency West Hanoi is quite possibly my favourite hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam - even though the hotel is located quite a distance from the Hoan Kiem Lake (or anything fun really), it is a super solid hotel with a decent gym and club lounge. When I stayed there back in January 2024, I noticed that the hotel would no longer be part of the Hyatt portfolio from 29 February 2024 and it appears that it will soon become the Sheraton Hanoi West (which is under the Marriott International portfolio).
Apart from the Sheraton Hanoi West, there are two other hotels in Hanoi that are under the Marriott International portfolio - the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi (which is also 35 minutes from Hoan Kiem Lake), and the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel (which is located near West Lake).
Hanoi is a great city to visit and with Hyatt losing its only property in the city, it is going to be tough choosing between the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi (which I have ALL Platinum status for) or the Capella Hanoi (even though GHA DISCOVERY Titanium status does not get you much) the next time I visit. I am interested to see if anything thing will be done to the Sheraton Hanoi Westonce it has been reflagged as it was only quite recently reflagged from a Crowne Plaza to a Hyatt Regency before the global pandemic.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
