Where Can You Go with 270,000 Miles?

With 270,000 miles, you can comfortably secure two Business Class return tickets to Japan and Korea. Alternatively, you can also choose to redeem them for two return tickets in First Class (or Suites!) to Hong Kong and Shanghai if you're seeking an unforgettable experience with Singapore Airlines. Keep in mind that award inventory for saver tickets may be limited on certain routes, so early planning is advised to fully leverage this competitive rate.

The Right Credit Card Gets You 3 Miles Per Dollar More

To maximise your miles, consider using a credit card that offers the highest mileage rewards for large expenditures. While some cards may offer up to 4 miles per dollar on eligible spend, they typically have a low monthly cap on bonus miles (up to S$2,000 only). To fully leverage this offer, I highly recommend applying for the KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card. This card awards 3 miles per dollar on all eligible Kris+ transactions without any monthly cap on the number of miles you can earn. In the event that you are fully maximising this offer with an initial deposit of S$30,000, you can also earn 90,000 bonus miles if you pay using the KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card in addition to the 270,000 miles earned through Kris+. This brings your total earn rate up from 9 miles per dollar to an impressive 12 miles per dollar and this will take your total mileage haul up to 360,000 which will comfortably cover one long-haul trip in Business Class for two - perfect for your honeymoon!

Convert KrisPay Miles to KrisFlyer Miles

For maximum value, transfer all KrisPay miles earned in the Kris+ app to your KrisFlyer account immediately. Although you have up to seven days to complete the transfer, I highly recommend doing it as soon as possible to avoid forgetting. After seven days from the date of transaction, your KrisPay miles can only be used to offset future spending at participating merchants at a rate of 150 KrisPay miles = S$1 - this only gives you a value of 0.67 cents per mile. KrisPay miles must be converted into your KrisFlyer account in order for you to redeem them for free flights.
