Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) Expands Portfolio with the Addition of Four New Hotel Brands, Including Sunway Hotels & Resorts in Malaysia
Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) has just added four new prestigious regional hotel brands to its portfolio, expanding its presence in some of the world's most popular tourism destinations. These 32 properties will expand the world's largest alliance of independent hotel brands which will provide 28 million members of the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme with even more choice and benefits when they travel.
The four new portfolios that have joined GHA's portfolio of hotels include the following:
Unike Hotels
Sunway Hotels & Resorts
Andronis
Paramount Hotels
GHA DISCOVERY members will soon be able to enjoy their usual benefits at these properties and those traveling to Asia will benefit from Sunway Hotels & Resorts's hotels and resorts which are located in popular Asian cities like Phnom Penh, Hanoi, and Kuala Lumpur just to name a few.
Expansion punctuates a landmark year for GHA as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. Since it was established in 2004, GHA has grown into a collection of 40 brands with more than 800 hotels, resorts and palaces in 100 countries, all supported by GHA DISCOVERY. First launched in 2010, and reimagined in 2021, this loyalty programme now serves 28 million members worldwide, generating $2.3 billion in revenue and 10 million room nights (as of 2023). Other recent milestones include the 2023 launch of Green Collection, empowering members to make conscious travel choice; new partnerships forged with ultra-luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises in July 2023 and vacation rental platform Plum Guide in March this year.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
