Andaz One Bangkok, the first Andaz hotel in Thailand, is set to open in December 2025 within the One Bangkok development. This design-forward luxury property will feature 244 rooms, local-inspired dining, and rooftop views near Lumphini Park.

The Andaz Seoul Gangnam is located in a well-heeled neighborhood within walking distance of Sinsa-dong and Garosu-gil Road where you will find the coolest cafes, restaurants, and fashion brands. The beautiful property features luxury rooms and suites that feel more residential than otherwise, but it also has a solid F&B offering that you should check-out when visiting Seoul.

Hyatt is expected to boost its luxury portfolio in the Asia-Pacific region by more than 25% by the end of 2020. With 21 new luxury hotels and resorts slated to open by the end of next year, this expansion will see the introduction of seven Park Hyatt branded properties.

It is definitely worth noting that the Andaz Xintiandi, Shanghai is the first Andaz-branded property to open in Asia and it located in an iconic entertainment area of downtown Shanghai. Even though the official check-in time at the property is 3:00PM, I did not face any trouble getting a room assigned to me at approximately 2:00PM. In fact, the hotel actually accorded me with an upgrade into a King Bed Deluxe (much like a Junior Suite and you will see why later) since I was celebrating my birthday there.

If you are a World of Hyatt member who is struggling to meet the requirements for elite status, you will be pleased to know that all eligible nights at participating Andaz properties around the world will count as two nights instead of one from 01 July 2018 to 31 August 2018 - this is awarded based on your checkout date.

In partnership with Vouch, Andaz Singapore is the first hotel in Singapore to launch the ConcierGO program (supported by the Singapore Tourism Board) which is a chatbot system that allows hotel guests to receive personalised response and recommendations based on their interests. This development is part of the STB's Tourism Innovation Challenge and it is in response to the challenges faced by hotel and travel agency industries.

The Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills is one of the most highly-rated Andaz properties amongst luxury travellers that I know - everyone that has been there has nothing but good things to say about this property. I am a huge fan of the Hyatt brand and even though I have lost my Globalist status earlier this year, the Andaz Singapore has been my most anticipated hotel to open in Singapore this year. Occupying the top floors of one of the iconic DUO skyscrapers, the Andaz Singapore is the first Andaz-branded property to open in Southeast Asia.
