The American Express Chillax Program needs no introduction - Platinum (including credit card) members get to enjoy 1-for-1 drinks at some of the best bars and restaurants in Singapore. Just to be clear, this benefit is extended to holders of The Centurion Card, The Platinum Card, The American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card and The American Express Platinum Credit Card issued in Singapore. Today, Amrith by The Song of India has joined the ranks of the other merchants to offer a similar benefit.

American Express Platinum Members (including those holding credit card versions) have long been getting either a complimentary welcome drink or 1-for-1 beverages at selected bars in Singapore via the Chillax programme. Late last year, four new bars from the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach have been added to this growing list. In view of the 2019 contract renewals, Smoke & Mirrors now imposes a S$20++ minimum spend requirement before an American Express Platinum Member can take advantage of the Chillax benefits.
