Hotel Review: Grand Hyatt Taipei (Grand Suite) - Luxurious Hotel next to Taipei 101

The Grand Hyatt Taipei is one of my favourite hotels and in my opinion, it is one of the best luxury hotels in Taipei. When I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Taipei in 2015, I stayed in a Grand Deluxe Room with an impressive view of the iconic Taipei 101. The presence of international hotel chains in Taipei is rather limited - you will not find anything from Hilton, Accor or IHG in the city and because of that (and other reasons), room rates at internationally-branded hotel chains can be rather costly. Check out my stay in a Grand Suite of the Grand Hyatt Taipei!

Authentic Chinese and Taiwanese Cuisine at Yun Jin Chinese Restaurant (Grand Hyatt Taipei)

I fell in love with the Grand Hyatt Taipei when I visited it back in 2015 (read my review of the hotel here!) and therefore, I decided to return to this beautiful property (especially after the refurbishments and renovations) this year in April 2017. During my stay, I checked out one of the restaurants that I have missed out on during my last visit - the Yun Jin Chinese Restaurant (located inside the Grand Hyatt Taipei) which serves up authentic Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine. Check out my review of Yun Jin in Taipei below!

5 Hotel Stays to Remember in 2015

As 2015 comes to a close, I would like to reflect on some of the most memorable hotel stays that I have had this year. Not only did I check out one of the most haunted hotels in Asia, I also went to the most opulent one (in my opinion). 2015 was also the year that I managed to bring my toy poodle (lawfully) to a weekend staycation that I enjoy so much (on a far-too-regular basis). In addition to all that, I also had the opportunity to experience living in my very own Serviced Suite (even for a night) in the heart of Singapore while having some time to check out one of the most beautiful beach resorts in Phuket (which serves excellent Thai food) on a separate weekend.

Hotel Review: Grand Hyatt Taipei

I have been to Taipei many times (even before I started writing) and I love the city for the delicious street food, orderliness and friendly people. In fact, I am writing a whole series of food articles around Taipei that you should definitely check out! There is no lack of boutique and affordable hotels around Taipei but if you are looking for an international brand, I may very well have stumbled upon the best one in this beautiful city - the Grand Hyatt Taipei.
