Hotel Indigo, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has officially opened Hotel Indigo Auckland — the brand’s first property in New Zealand. Located in the heart of Midtown on Albert Street, the 225-room hotel combines historic elements with contemporary design, offering a boutique accommodation experience in Auckland's central business district.

The birthplace of William Shakespeare is a magnet to visitors from around the world - many of them make the pilgrimage to visit this historic market town and also the marvel at one of the most famous theatres in the world, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Today, IHG has announced the opening of the Hotel Indigo - Stratford upon Avon which is set to open in the heart of this historic market town.

A management agreement has been signed between the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Watson Elite for Sydney's first Hotel Indigo which is slated to open in 2021. The third Hotel Indigo property planned for Australia (following the Hotel Indigo Brisbane Fortitude Valley as well as Hotel Indigo Melbourne Docklands), Hotel Indigo Sydney Central, will be located opposite Capitol Square in the central precinct of Sydney.

The first Hotel Indigo that was signed in Vietnam is the Hotel Indigo Phu Quoc Starbay that is slated to open in 2021. Even though the Hotel Indigo Saigon The City is signed on a later date, it is slated to become the country's first Hotel Indigo-branded property that will open in Ho Chi Minh City come 2019.

IHGA Hotels Group Japan, a joint venture between InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and ANA has just signed an agreement to bring IHG's popular boutique brand, Hotel Indigo, into Japan. This is in response to a growing segment of travellers who are constantly looking for a different travel experience. The Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora is slated to open in 2019 and it will be a place where guests and locals alike can gather and enjoy the rich culture and history of Gora, with its famous, pastel coloured hot springs surrounded by majestic, green mountains and the charms of nature that change with the seasons.

One of the most highly-anticipated property in Bali, the Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach has just opened to celebrate both the ancient and modern zeitgeist of Bali. The newly-built property offers 289 beautifully-appointed rooms that embraces both modern and traditional which is apparent throughout the design of the hotel - there are no hotels in Seminyak that offers such a beautiful blend of old and new.

The Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong is truly a gem in the hotel industry in Singapore.
