Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has exited the Singapore market with the termination of management agreements for both Duxton and Maxwell properties.

You will soon be able to use your IHG Rewards Club Points across Six Senses properties for a free Reward Night.

IHG has just announced its plans to acquire Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas (which currently manages 16 hotels and resorts) for $300 Million in cash. There are 18 management contracts signed into its pipeline, and more than 50 further deals under active discussion. With properties in locations such as the Maldives, the Seychelles, Yao Noi in Thailand, Zighy Bay in Oman, and Portugal’s Douro Valley, the addition of Six Senses’ award-winning estate and high-quality development pipeline will further round out IHG’s position in the luxury segment.

The Six Senses Duxton is the first city property for Six Senses and it is also one of the most highly-anticipated hotels to open in Singapore this year. The Six Senses Duxton has been sustainably-restored by famous British designer, Anouska Hempel and it features a synthesis of Chinese, Malay and European design elements. The Six Senses Maxwell (which is just located a couple of minutes away on foot) is slated to open in October 2018 and guests staying in either property will be able to enjoy all the amenities across both hotels. The Six Senses Duxton (the first of two heritage buildings that will collectively create the Six Senses Singapore) is scheduled to open next month on 15 April 2018. This will be one of the newest hotels to open in Singapore this year and the Six Senses Maxwell is set to open later this year. The first property is currently taking reservations and there is also an opening offer that you could take advantage of.
