How Much are IHG Rewards Club Points worth in Singapore?

I have previously written an article on using IHG Rewards Club Points in Singapore - you can redeem for room nights, an InterContinental Ambassador membership, dining and retail vouchers as well as some really random home appliances amongst other things. To be honest, if you travel to places like Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bora Bora or other expensive cities, using IHG Points for redemption is not always the best solution. However, this may change if the room rates have soared (due to a Public Holiday or special day like the New Year's Eve for instance) so be sure to watch out for those dates particularly when it is closer in.

Waiver of Foreign Currency Admin Fee - CIMB Visa Signature Card

Last month, I wrote about the newest Visa Infinite card in Singapore which is also the first card in the country to offer a waiver on foreign currency admin fees (1.5%). This month, the CIMB Visa Signature card has popped up on our radar as the second credit card in Singapore to offer the same waiver of foreign currency admin fee (1.4% in the case of CIMB). This rebate will be credited in your statement in the following statement period.

Complete List of Credit Card Renewal Miles in Singapore - Updated April 2019

As always, please feel free to contact me should you feel that something else should be added to the table below.

Stay Once for at least 3,000 KrisFlyer Miles on Kaligo

I have always been a strong advocate for Kaligo because it offers up to 12 miles per S$1 spent on hotel reservations. In fact, quite recently as part of my article on 6 ways to earn more miles this year, I mentioned that sometimes not having a hotel loyalty status is a good thing to have. From now until 29 February 2016, make your first booking on Kaligo and get 3,000 bonus KrisFlyer Miles. If you spend US$1,000 during this promotional period, you will get a total of 10,000 bonus KrisFlyer Miles!
