Hotel Review: PARKROYAL on Beach Road (Premier Room)
This year the PARKROYAL on Beach Road has unveiled their newly refurbished Premier Rooms. Having found a really good rate on an OTA, I decided to give the Premier Rooms a go during the Lunar New Year break (particularly because I did not have any visiting to do too). Even though I personally value a bath tub highly during a staycation, I think the newly refurbished rooms are truly a breath of fresh air. Hotel Review: Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay
Once the most crucial center of trade in Singapore, Clarke Quay has transformed drastically over the last few decades and has evolved into a place for dining, shopping and even adventure today. Located along the Singapore River and right next to Liang Court (Singapore's unofficial little-Japan) is the four-star Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay. Check out my stay in a Premier Room (with Premier Lounge access) at this strategically-placed family and business hotel.
Hotel Review: Concorde Hotel Singapore
Formally known as the Le Meridien Hotel, the Concorde Hotel Singapore is located a short stroll away from Dhoby Ghaut and Somerset MRT stations. With one of the world's most famous shopping strips at your doorstep, the Concorde Hotel Singapore has a mix of 407 rooms and suites that will cater to every business and leisure travellers' needs. Check out my review of the Premier Club room at this hotel!
Hotel Review: The Regent Singapore
The Regent Singapore is a Four Seasons hotel that is located near to Tanglin, slightly off-Orchard Road. Boasting 440 classically appointed rooms and suites, The Regent Singapore may look slightly dated on the exterior but after staying there last month, I can safely say that the hotel is slowly making its way to one of my top few favourite hotels in Singapore. Most importantly, The Regent Singapore is one of the rare few hotels in Singapore that allows you to bring a pet along (to stay) with you. Hotel Review: Mandarin Oriental Singapore (Club Harbour Room)
When I visited the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore last year in September, I took advantage of the City Retreat package which came with a night's accommodation in the Premier Ocean room and Champagne Brunch for two the following day. Having spent my previous Christmas Eve in Hilton Singapore, I wanted some place a little more special and therefore I opted for the Club Harbour room in the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore.
Hotel Review: Pan Pacific Singapore (Harbour Studio)
The Harbour Studio at the Pan Pacific Singapore was the first room type that I stayed in when I first started writing The Shutterwhale. I decided to revisit the Harbour Studio once again (out of my own budget of course) to find out what made me fall in love with this property in the first place.
Hotel Review: Sheraton Towers Singapore (Pool King Room)
The Sheraton Towers Singapore has undergone a S$20 million refurbishment programme which was unveiled in 2013. The 420 carefully-appointed guestrooms and swimming pool has been redesigned in a transitional style. Strategically located off Orchard Road on Scotts Road, the Sheraton Towers Singapore is conveniently accessible by the MRT (Newton station). If you are feeling hungry during your stay, the famous Newton Circus Food Centre is just within minutes of walking from your room (or suite!). Check out my experience in a Towers Pool Room and find out how to get SPG Gold in just one stay.
