Hotel Review: Rydges Auckland (King Residence Suite) - Central Hotel in Auckland's CBD

A third daily flight between Singapore and Auckland has been announced earlier this month and while it will only commence on 28 October 2018, the route is well-served by a number of solid products. In the summer months, passengers traveling on Singapore Airlines may consider trying out the excellent Suites and Business Class product on the A380. After staying at the Hilton Auckland for about a week, I moved over to the Rydges Auckland for the weekend as it was considerably more affordable and it is situated right in the middle of the city along Federal Street. Hotel Review: Conrad Beijing (Executive Suite) - Luxurious and Modern Hotel in Beijing

The Executive Suite at the Conrad Beijing is easily one of the most beautiful suites that I have stayed in. It enjoys plenty of daylight and the view is amazing (as long as the weather in Beijing is good). The property is located to Sanlitun and Guomao, making it a great choice for both leisure and business travellers but more importantly, the interiors of the hotel are just stunning! Hotel Review: Andaz Singapore (Andaz Suite King) - First Andaz Hotel in Southeast Asia!

I am a huge fan of the Hyatt brand and even though I have lost my Globalist status earlier this year, the Andaz Singapore has been my most anticipated hotel to open in Singapore this year. Occupying the top floors of one of the iconic DUO skyscrapers, the Andaz Singapore is the first Andaz-branded property to open in Southeast Asia. More importantly, it is a product of two very famous and established architects - Ole Scheeren and Andre Fu. Check out my review of the Andaz Suite here!

Hotel Review: Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon (King Deluxe Room with Balcony)

The Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon is Singapore's only focused service hotel that is under the Hilton Worldwide portfolio. Unlike the Conrad Singapore and the Hilton Singapore which are luxury and full service hotels respectively, the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon offers affordable accommodation right in the heart of Little India. With a much lower average daily rate, the rooms here at Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon are extremely value for money (making it perfect for mattress runs with the Hilton Honors loyalty program) and it is definitely one of the better focused service hotels that I have experienced in Singapore.

Hotel Review: Sofitel Singapore City Centre (Luxury Room) - Flagship Sofitel Hotel in CBD of Singapore

When I got a sneak preview of the brand new all-day dining restaurant, Racines, at the newly-opened Sofitel Singapore City Centre, I was seriously impressed by it - the food in the restaurant is not only authentic but it also exudes both elegance and finesse in the dishes. What stood out to me even more however, was how beautiful the entire place looks. As you may already know, the Sofitel Singapore City Centre is the flagship Sofitel property of Singapore and it directly connected to the Tanjong Pagar MRT Station, making it the perfect place for both business and luxury travel. As part of the hotel's pre-opening celebration, I have been invited by the property to spend a lovely evening here to experience for myself firsthand on what this stunning property has to offer.

Hotel Review: Conrad Centennial Singapore (Deluxe Room) - Refurbished in 2017

Conveniently located to some of the most iconic landmarks in Singapore, the Conrad Centennial Singapore, who just celebrated her 20th anniversary last year, has been undergoing some refurbishment since a couple of months ago to refresh the guest rooms and suites. I have previously stayed in an Executive Room and the Centennial Suite on multiple occasions but have always found the rooms to be dated and in need of a refresh. Therefore, when I found out back in May that the hotel was going to be undergoing a series of refurbishments, I was extremely excited since this is possibly the best hotel in Singapore that you can earn Hilton Honors points and nights.

Hotel Review: The Vagabond Club, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Singapore (Art Executive Club Suite)

The Vagabond Club is Singapore's very first and only Tribute Portfolio hotel. Previously known as Hotel Vagabond, The Vagabond Club has only recently gone through a name change to reflect a more intimate and consistent setting. Tribute Portfolio properties (which fall under the greater umbrella of Starwood Hotels & Resorts) are essentially independent hotels with an inspired style. Having stayed in a number of Starwood Hotels & Resorts properties in Singapore and around the world, I was excited to check out my very first Tribute Portfolio property, The Vagabond Club.
