After getting my hands on an Accor Plus membership a few months ago, I started looking at the Red Hot Rooms rate (exclusive to Accor Plus members only) across all participating hotels in Asia-Pacific and actually found some ridiculously cheap rates in Singapore on some weekends. As such, since I was going to have lunch at Kopi Tiam in Swissotel The Stamford one weekend, I decided to book a room for a staycation anyway. Hotel Review: Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort (Ocean Front Suite) - Luxurious Cliff Edge Property

One of my travel highlights this year is traveling to Uluwatu in Bali - the flight from Singapore to Bali is easy and I highly recommend Singapore Airlines' Business Class product on the 787-10 Dreamliner. I have flown it multiple times and I really think that it is the best regional Business Class product out there. The American Express Platinum Concierge somehow managed to negotiate with the InterContinental Bali Resort on my behalf to convert the airport transfer (which was included in my room rate there) into a private transfer to Uluwatu for a fee. As such, it was not long before I arrived in Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort for one of the most luxurious weekends that I have ever spent in Bali.

Hotel Review: Park Hyatt Siem Reap (Rooftop Garden Suite) - Luxurious Haven in the Heart of City

As soon as I cleared immigration and picked up my luggage, I met up with a Park Hyatt Siem Reap representative out front who promptly took my bags and escorted me to the car. Now a lot of people do not actually know this but the Park Hyatt Siem Reap actually enjoys one of the best locations in the city - it is just a short 20-minute drive from the airport and it is within walking distance to Pub Street which is a great place for food, entertainment and drinks. When I visited Bangkok back in February (yes this stay was almost 8 months back), the hotel rates were through the roof for some reason on that weekend that I was there. As such, I decided to redeem some of my IHG Rewards Club points for a stay at the InterContinental Bangkok. I flew in from Haneda to Bangkok on Japan Airlines Business Class and was pleasantly impressed by the overall experience - the food (both in terms of taste and presentation) was great and the on-board service was truly memorable. Even though I was given a premium lane pass, I decided to use the automated gates instead since the queue there was even shorter.

The Pan Pacific Melbourne was rebranded from the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf (which I have personally stayed in at least three times) back in 2017 and ever since then, the property has gone through refurbishment to ensure that both the hardware and software are in line with the Pan Pacific brand globally. I flew in to Melbourne on Emirates and since I was traveling on Business Class, I got to enjoy a complimentary chauffeur-drive service from the airport to a place of my choice.
