IHG Into The Nights - Two Free Nights
Similar to the previous Big Win where I earned 28,000 IHG Points from 3 eligibles stays, IHG has once again launched a similar promotion called Into The Nights for the rest of the year! I was presented with a set of 7 offers (or challenges rather) that I have to fulfil. Completing 6 out of 7 of these offers will trigger the bonus of 17,000 IHG Points or 2 Free Nights. Since the cheapest IHG property in Singapore is 20,000 IHG Points a night, it would not make sense to take the first unless of course you have no intention of travelling in the near future.
IHG Dining Rewards offers opportunity to buy IHG Platinum Status
The InterContinental Hotel Group recently launched the IHG Dining Rewards in Australia. The programme offers a range of F&B benefits as well as hotel specific benefits that travellers may find attractive. If you do not have any IHG Rewards Club status, joining the IHG Dining Rewards programme will give you an instant Gold Elite status. However, if you do have a Gold Elite status already, joining this program will give you a Platinum Elite status.
Boutique Hotel Reviews
Personally, I'm a huge fan of chain hotels for the formality and structure they have in place - especially in the loyalty programme aspect. However, boutique hotels being limited in size, can provide special aspects to hotel stays. While it does not generally appeal to me, the level of intimacy in an exemplary boutique property allows the hotel to bridge the gap between staff and guest, revealing an opportunity to make a lasting impression on hotel guests.
Over the next month, I will feature four boutique properties in Singapore - some of which are truly impressive!
