The newest Novotel property (500th in the whole world) has just opened in Seoul - the 523-room Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun offers close proximity to major historical sites including Heunginjimun, one of the “Eight Gates of Seoul” dating back to the 14th century. When local developer EL Development Pte Ltd bought over the Singtel Hill Street site back in 2017, it has already been announced that the plot of land would be used to develop an upscale hotel. Today, AccorHotels and EL Development Pte Ltd have announced that they will build a five-star Pullman Singapore (which will also become Singapore's first Pullman-branded property) that will feature a rooftop bar and executive lounge with sweeping views over Fort Canning, the Singapore River and St Andrew’s Cathedral, along with a vibrant lobby, health and fitness centre and pool.

The iconic Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi will be rebranded into the first Andaz-branded hotel in the Middle East late 2018. The hotel which is currently owned by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) will turn the iconic ‘Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi’ into Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi.
