The Tong Hua Night Market (通化夜市) is one of the less well-known night markets in Singapore so you won't be seeing as many tourists. In fact, while I was there, a good 90% of the people there seems to be locals - you know it's good when the locals go! The Tong Hua Night Market is also known as Lin Jiang Ye Shi (臨江夜市) as it is located along Lin Jiang street so don't go searching for both thinking they are different. Also, if you happen to stay in the Grand Hyatt Taipei like I did, Tong Hua Night Market is probably one of the closest one located to the hotel - approximately 15 to 20 minutes stroll.
