Fairfield by Marriott Debuts in China with Fairfield by Marriott Nanning Nanhu Park

Marriott International has just announced the first Fairfield by Marriott brand in Greater China with the opening of the Fairfield by Marriott Nanning Nanhu Park. A partnership between Marriott International and the Dossen International Group will see the introduction of the brand across different cities in China over the next five years. The new-built Fairfield by Marriott Nanning Nanhu Park will feature open spaces that are suitable for both work and entertainment and the design of the hotel's guest rooms have all been inspired by the fundamental themes of relaxation and simplicity.

When I visited Hong Kong in November (2016) last year, I traveled directly from Haneda on ANA's Boeing 787 Dreamliner (787-900) product in Business Class (check out my review of ANA's Business Class here!). While the hard product was very good, I can't help but to feel that the service on-board Singapore Airlines in Business Class was consistently better. In any case, I was pretty excited to check out the World's Highest Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong after paying so much for a club room there. As part of my extended vacation in November 2016, I flew directly from Haneda Airport to Hong Kong International Airport via ANA's 787-900 on Business Class. Mr Greaves is a Hyatt veteran, having started his career as a Management Trainee at Hyatt Carlton Tower in 1984, and is currently General Manager of Grand Hyatt Shanghai and Area Vice President for the Shanghai region.
