David Laval has been appointed as the Conrad Centennial Singapore's new Executive Chef who will personally oversee the hotel's entire culinary operations which ranges from catering, banqueting, in-room dining services, as well as the restaurants - Oscar's, Golden Peony, Lobby Lounge and The Terrace.

Executive Chef David Laval has held various positions in luxury hospitality properties within the Conrad brand as well as other established hotels and resorts from around the world. With over 25 years of experience under his belt, David was previously the Director of Food & Beverage and Culinary Operations in Conrad Bali.

Since the age of 16, David has been travelling to different parts of the world to expand on his culinary knowledge and experience. He is also a member of the L'Académie Culinaire de France, the prestigious Association 'Les Disciples d'Auguste Escoffier' as well as the Association Culinaire Française in London. Working close with his team at the Conrad Centennial Singapore, Laval will not only be introducing a new in-room dining menu but he will also be creating new takeaway items at the Terrace and redefining the high tea experience at the Lobby Lounge.
