American Express Adds EVA Air Infinity MileageLands as New Airline Transfer Partner - New Ways to Redeem Miles!
While American Express cards may not give you the most miles for certain spends in Singapore, it is known for its superior customer service as well as amazing American Express Offers that can save you thousands of dollars each year. American Express has just added EVA Air Infinity MileageLands as the latest airline transfer partner and all eligible members will be able to convert their Membership Rewards Points into Infinity MileageLands miles within 10 working days.

All eligible cardholders will be able to convert their Membership Rewards Points into Infinity MileageLands miles at a rate of 450 MR Points to 250 Miles. However, If you hold the Centurion or The Platinum Card from American Express, you will be able to convert your Membership Rewards points into airline miles at a much more favourable rate (400 MR Points = 250 Miles). While most cardholders in Singapore may not be immediately excited about this opportunity, it is worth noting that EVA Air offers an excellent Royal Laurel product (I actually redeemed some KrisFlyer miles for this flight back in 2017) where passengers can actually enjoy the amazing Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2006 on the flight. Redeeming a Business Class flight from Singapore to Taipei will require only 50,000 Infinity MileageLands miles on EVA Air while a Business Class flight between the aforementioned cities on Singapore Airlines will require 61,000 KrisFlyer Miles.

If you are keen to experience the Royal Laurel Class on EVA Air, it is worth noting that one-way award redemption tickets within Asia will only require 25,000 Infinity MileageLands miles each way so there are plenty of opportunities to leverage on this new transfer partner. Additionally, if you are looking at round-trip award bookings, it is worth noting that open jaws as well as complimentary stopovers are offered. There are also no fees involved for changing flight dates on a redemption ticket which is infinitely better than the service fees that are charged when using KrisFlyer miles.
