Hilton Honors Members Now Earn Points on up to 4 Rooms and Enjoy Extended Points Expiry

While suite upgrades have been rare for me personally, Hilton Honors has always been extremely generous when it comes to points. There are also plenty of opportunities to earn bonus points - make sure you sign-up for Hilton Honors Points Unlimited to enjoy 2,000 bonus points with each eligible stay as well as a bonus of 10,000 bonus points for every ten consumed nights within the promotional period. Today, Hilton Honors has made a number of changes to enable members to earn more points effective immediately.

Previously Hilton Honors members were only able to earn points on up to 2 rooms under the same portfolio. Effective immediately, Hilton Honors members will be able to earn points on up to 4 rooms under the same portfolio - it goes without saying that the member will have to be one of the guests occupying one of the rooms under the said portfolio. Additionally, Hilton Honors points will now expire 15 months after inactivity instead of 12 months previously. If you are planning on redeeming a stay though Points & Money, the cash part of the rate will also be eligible to earn points.

If you are in need of Hilton Honors Points, there is currently a 100% bonus on point purchases that is valid until 19 February 2020 - you will need to purchase a minimum of 10,000 points to unlock the 100% bonus. Most members will be able to purchase up to 80,000 points (before bonus) each year but sometimes members are targeted to purchase up to 160,000 points. Members based in Singapore should consider using the OCBC 90°N Card to unlock 4 miles per dollar on these purchases.
