Accelerate is back for 2017 and you now have the chance to rake up some IHG Rewards Club points for eligible stays between 01 January 2017 and 15 April 2017 - perfect if you already have plans to stay in participating InterContinental Hotels Group properties in the coming year! As mentioned previously, InterContinental Ambassador members seem to get a set of offers that are tailored towards InterContinental hotels (which means it is generally more expensive to complete these challenges) and my offers for 2017 seem to confirm this.

2017 Accelerate Offers

I have to complete 6 out of 7 of the tasks listed above to earn 14,000 bonus points which honestly isn't great but for the sake of this article, let's look at the easiest way to complete this. The best move for me is to redeem a Points and Cash night at a cash-expensive InterContinental property in AMEA and then book a two-night weekend stay at a relatively cheaper one at a different property. Renewing my Ambassador Membership for 24,000 IHG Rewards Club Points will also earn me 5,000 bonus points according to this new Accelerate so I am really just paying 14,000 IHG Rewards Club Points for a BOGO cert and another year of Ambassador (amazing value!).

Doing a Points and Cash stay at the InterContinental Singapore (click HERE to check out the Premier Suite!) in January will trigger the following bonuses:
