Turkish Delicacies at Melt Cafe (Mandarin Oriental, Singapore)
In case you do not already know, Chef Metin Isci from the luxurious Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum (which overlooks Paradise Bay) is serving up authentic Turkish Delicacies at the newly-refreshed Melt Cafe at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. What's more important to note however is that there is only less than a week left to savour the exquisite Turkish flavours at Melt Cafe since this is only running until 12 March 2016.
Like most of the other culinary features that happen from time to time (like that amazing one from Bumbu Bali!) at Melt Cafe, the Turkish Delicacies do not completely replace Melt Cafe's regular offerings. You will find specific spaces in each section that are dedicated to the feature instead. For instance, you will definitely notice the extensive lokum (or Turkish Delight) spread at the dessert counter as you walk in the restaurant.
There's plenty of Turkish delicacies to choose from and if you would like to learn more about the featured dishes, look out for Chef Metin who is probably in the kitchen or the knowledgable restaurant manager, Anshul. The Stuffed Chicken Legs (photographed on the top left) is a crowd favourite and one that should not be missed.
There is also an outdoor station where a variety of kebabs and grilled meats are served.
If like me, you do not know much about Turkish cuisine and would like to take this opportunity to learn more about it, you should definitely not miss out on the spread at Melt Cafe.
