IHG: Book Direct for 30,000 Bonus IHG Points + 8% Cashback (TopCashback)

Last week, I wrote about the completion of my Accelerate Q1 2016 offers - I basically got over 50,000 IHG Rewards Club Points with approximately US$250 spend. As you may already know, IHG is currently offering you the opportunity to earn 30,000 bonus points (on top of whatever you earn from base spend, elite and accelerate bonuses) when you book direct - you will have to register for this promotion before making an eligible reservation.

What a lot of people do not realise is that when booking directly with IHG, you should also take advantage of cashback sites like TopCashback to earn 8% back as rebates (accurate at time of publishing). If you are based in Singapore and you are thinking about taking advantage of this opportunity to earn 30,000 easy IHG Points, check out Singapore's cheapest Holiday Inn Express property (from S$112++) which will be opening in June 2016. In case you are wondering why do I not recommend ShopBack, it offers only 2% cashback as compared to TopCashback's 8%.
