Some United Airlines Flights in Economy No Longer Earns 100% Miles on KrisFlyer
Taking effect on 01 October 2017, all Economy class flights on United Airlines will no longer earn 100% miles on Singapore Airlines' KrisFlyer program. As shown in the image below, all fare classes ticketed for Economy flights use to earn 100% of the actual miles flown (great for SIN-HKG flights for passengers in Singapore) but all eligible Economy flights now earn only 25% - 100% of actual miles flown.
KrisFlyer Mileage Accrual Levels on United (OLD CHART) - No Longer Applicable
While there are no changes to the mileage accrual levels on First Class and Business Class, the following accrual levels for eligible Economy Class flights will now apply:
- 100% - B, E, H, M, U, Y
- 75% - Q, V, W
- 50% - L,S,T
- 25% - G, K
