Comparing DragonPass to Priority Pass in Singapore Changi Airport - Interesting Restaurants as Alternative to Airport Lounges
I have always relied on my OCBC VOYAGE Card to get unlimited access to Plaza Premium Lounges in Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). However, when I paid S$1,712 for The Platinum Card from American Express late last year, I received a Priority Pass card which offers unlimited access (+1 guest) to all Priority Pass lounges (which includes Plaza Premium Lounges). While searching for some information online today, I realised that DragonPass (which is an alternative lounge network that some banks in Singapore partner) offers a number of interesting restaurants in addition to the usual airport lounges.

By looking at the table above, you will immediately notice that there are three additional lounge locations where a traveller can gain access to with a DragonPass membership (the ticks above represent which lounge you can access with each lounge network). Upon further investigation, this is what each one of the additional locations offer:
Hudsons Coffee - Set Meal
1 Standard Hot or Iced Beverage (12oz)
1 Sandwich/Salad
1 Dessert(Eclair/Swiss Roll)
The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck - Set Meal
1 Starter (Chef Soup of the day/Caesar Salad/Buffalo Chicken Wings)
1 Main Course (WGP Burger/Turkey Club/Rigatoni Al Fredo/Spaghetti TBG/Asian Chicken Salad/Pepperoni Pizza/Margherita Pizza)
1 Dessert (Chocolate Brownie/Apple Tart)
1 Beverage (Coffee/Tea/Soft Drinks/Cherry Sunrise/Ginger Lime Iced Tea)
Airport Wellness Oasis T1
20-minute Fish Spa
30-minute Massage (either upper body or foot reflexology worth S$51.00) OR Food Gallery Set Meal Vouchers (package includes hot/cold meal + hot/cold drinks)
While Priority Pass has already been offering the option to use your lounge visits at participating restaurants in other airports, it is interesting to see premium options like The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck on DragonPass. Also, who would have thought that you would be able to enjoy a Fish Spa (which is actually really disgusting) in an airport as opposed to having a conducive place to get work done?!
