Having the right credit card in Singapore is extremely important if you travel quite a bit - it can help you rake up significant miles which you can use for free premium cabin travel and some of the credit cards actually have tangible travel benefits like free airport lounge access and limousine transfer amongst other things. There are two main types of credit cards in Singapore that offer complimentary airport lounge access - one requires a minimum spend and one does not. The credit cards listed in the table above allow you to access certain types of airport lounges for simply holding the card - some of them will issue you a separate Priority Pass card which you can then use to access participating airport lounges. Typically speaking, unlimited access to Priority Pass lounges is more desirable than unlimited access to Plaza Premium lounges since the latter generally falls under the former classification - it is a little complicated so please refer to the following links for a rough idea on the kind of airport lounges you can access:

Some of the credit cards (e.g. OCBC VOYAGE Card) will also allow you to bring a guest (who is traveling with you) into the lounge at no additional charge. There are also a handful of credit cards in Singapore that require a minimum spend before complimentary airport lounge access is accorded. As an example, principal cardholders of the ANZ Travel Visa Signature Credit Card will have to spend at least S$10,000 per quarter in order to get 2 complimentary passes to any participating DragonPass Lounge - cardholders will only be able to redeem up to 2 complimentary passes per quarter and up to 8 complimentary passes per year.

UOB Lady’s Cards will only earn up to 4 miles per dollar from 01 April 2024 - maximum cap on UOB Lady's Solitaire Card (including metal version) will also be reduced from S$3,000 to S$2,000.
