DBS Woman’s World Card to Reduce 4 MPD Cap from S$1,500 to S$1,000 Monthly on 01 August 2025
The DBS Woman’s World Card has long been a go-to for miles collectors in Singapore (even for men!), offering an excellent 4 mpd (miles per dollar) on the first S$1,500 of eligible online transactions each calendar month. From 1 August 2025, this is changing. DBS has announced that the monthly cap for the 4 MPD bonus rate will be reduced to just S$1,000, down from the current S$1,500.
This marks the second major devaluation for the DBS Woman’s World Card since its inception, and while the 4 mpd earn rate technically remains intact, the lower cap limits the card’s usefulness for those who frequently make large online purchases that used to comfortably sit within the old limit of S$1,500 per month.
Effective Date | Monthly 4 mpd Cap | Maximum Bonus Miles |
---|---|---|
Until 31 July 2025 | S$1,500 | 6,000 miles |
From 1 August 2025 | S$1,000 | 4,000 miles |
The DBS Woman’s World Card has been a staple in most miles collectors’ portfolios with its generous bonus cap. With this upcoming change, users will earn fewer bonus miles monthly unless they split spending across multiple cards. There are quite a number of credit cards in Singapore that offer 4 MPD on eligible spend, but they mostly have the same monthly bonus caps (except the UOB Lady’s Solitaire Card).
While a cut from S$1,500 to S$1,000 may seem minor at first glance, it represents a 33% reduction in monthly bonus earning potential. If you have been maximising your online spend on the DBS Woman’s World Card each month, this change translates to 2,000 fewer KrisFlyer miles every month - or 24,000 fewer miles annually. With increasingly tighter reward structures across the board, it is becoming increasingly evident that the golden age of easy 4 MPD online spend is slowly fading.
A look inside the Emirates Lounge at Auckland Airport, which is currently serving Qantas Business Class passengers during the Qantas lounge renovation. While pleasant and functional, the experience was ultimately unremarkable, leaving me eager to see the all-new Qantas International Lounge when it debuts in 2026.
