DBS Woman's World Card to Reduce 4 MPD Bonus on Online Spend to S$1,500 from March 2024
The DBS Woman's World Card has long been one of the best credit cards in Singapore for mile-chasers as it allows cardholders (both men and women, despite the name of the credit card) to earn up to 4 miles per dollar (mpd) on all eligible online spend. Starting from 01 March 2024, the online bonus cap for bonus points will be reduced from S$2,000 to S$1,500. While the DBS Woman's World Card is still a great card to have, this means that starting from March 2024, you can only earn up to 72,000 miles per year at a 4 mpd earn rate, as opposed to 96,000 miles currently.

Outside of the 4 mpd bonus earn rate on eligible online expenses, the DBS Woman's World Card earns only 0.4/1.2 mpd on local- and foreign-currency spending respectively. Now this is rather typical for credit cards offering up to 4 mpd in Singapore - you should only use these cards for dedicated spend on identified categories to get the most miles out of your spend. I should probably make it clear that this is not a call to cancel your DBS Woman's World Card but rather, a precautionary reminder to reduce your online spending on the card from S$2,000 to S$1,500 from March 2024 onwards (since anything over that will earn 0.4/1.2 miles per dollar at most). According to the newly published terms and conditions for the DBS Woman's World Card, there is no change to the earn rate for the card so that is good news.
While the decision to reduce the limit from S$2,000 to S$1,500 is not desirable from a customer's point of view, it is understandable for this to happen as product managers are also required to meet certain KPIs each year and this helps to manage cost a little better. There are still plenty of credit cards in Singapore that offer up to 4 miles per dollar on eligible spend and it might be a good time to check whether you can take advantage of any new-to-card offers that are currently running to pick up some bonus cash along the way.

Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
