American Express offers are amazing since they offer significant savings (typically) or accelerated earn rate on Membership Rewards points - it is also one of the main reasons why I chose to renew my Platinum Card for S$1,712 this year. Today, a brand new Marriott Bonvoy Thailand offer went out to offer targeted card members the opportunity to get S$150 back for spending S$600 (up to three times per saved card) before 31 January 2020.

Last year, American Express ran a spend S$500, get S$150 back offer across all participating Marriott properties around the same period so this Marriott Bonvoy Thailand offer is definitely not as attractive. Additionally, only participating properties in Koh Samui, Phuket and Khao Lak are eligible for this American Express Offer so you should definitely check the list of participating properties before booking.

In order to qualify for the S$150 cashback, you will be required to spend at least S$600 at the same participating Marriott Bonvoy property - you may receive up to three credits (S$450) per saved card but a maximum of S$150 credit will be award per participating property. Payments have to be made online at Marriott.com, in-app via the Marriott Bonvoy app, via phone to Marriott Reservations, or in-person at the front desk of participating Marriott Bonvoy properties by 31 January 2020. If you are planning a much later stay, you may first make an eligible hotel reservation online before emailing the property to charge your card in advance.
