Japan Airlines to Enable Customers to Book Flights 360 Days Ahead (from 330 Days)
Japan Airlines (JAL) has just announced that they will be changing the reservation start date for international flights from 330 days to 360 days prior to departure). This new rule will enable international travellers to better plan for their trips (which also include hotel reservations) as soon as possible. While it is currently not confirmed as to whether this feature will be rolled out to partner airlines as well, this could potentially mean that travellers who wish to travel on JAL using Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles will soon be able to see availability for redemption up to 360 days out.
