Japan Airlines to Enable Customers to Book Flights 360 Days Ahead (from 330 Days)
Japan Airlines (JAL) has just announced that they will be changing the reservation start date for international flights from 330 days to 360 days prior to departure). This new rule will enable international travellers to better plan for their trips (which also include hotel reservations) as soon as possible. While it is currently not confirmed as to whether this feature will be rolled out to partner airlines as well, this could potentially mean that travellers who wish to travel on JAL using Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles will soon be able to see availability for redemption up to 360 days out.
Purchase by 22 February to get 40% more Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Miles!
The carrier renewed its international passenger service system in November 2017, which enabled these changes to take place and equal efforts will be carried out for domestic flights going forward. JAL will continue to take on the challenge to improve its products and will strive to enhance customer convenience through the expansion of new services.
