Make an eligible hotel reservation on Kaligo between 13 February 2019 (8:00AM Singapore Time) to 15 February 2019 (8:00AM Singapore Time) for stays before the end of 30 April 2019 to earn double the amount of miles and points on your chosen loyalty programme! As you may already know, Kaligo offers you the opportunity to rake up plenty of miles from hotel stays across over 40 different loyalty programs.
Bank credit card loyalty programmes are excluded from this offer (this means to say that you will not be receiving 20 Citi Miles per dollar on Kaligo) but you will be able to earn twice of what you will typically earn on your desired loyalty programme - this is a great way to collect miles for more obscure programs that may have great redemption deals depending on where you wish to go. Bonus miles and points that are earned during this promotion will be credited within 4-6 weeks after the completion of the required hotel stay.
Earlier this month, I wrote about the opportunity to convert your DBS Points into Qantas Points and if you are planning to do so, you can now earn 20% more Qantas Points on transfers between 15 April 2019 and 30 June 2019. 5,000 DBS Points typically convert into 10,000 Qantas Points but under this promotion, you will be getting 12,000 Qantas Points instead.
Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles require no introduction - it is simply one of the most valuable mile currency around in the market and you can easily use it to get from Singapore to Japan on Business Class for cheap. You are currently able to get a whooping 50% bonus on miles purchased from now until 19 May 2019.
With the ability to convert DBS Points into Qantas Points as well as the opportunity to earn more Qantas Points via Mileslife, travellers now have more reason to take advantage of the double points promotion. Most credit cards points and equivalent miles convert mostly to KrisFlyer (KF) Miles and Asia Miles (AM) in Singapore. It appears that DBS has added Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) as a Point Transfer Partner - members can convert their DBS Points into QFF Points at the same rate as KF and AM (5,000 DBS Points = 10,000 Miles).
The latest partnership between foodpanda Singapore and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer will enable customers to earn KrisFlyer miles on eligible orders made via the foodpanda Singapore platform. If you did not hold any Singapore Airlines credit cards previously, you can easily earn 12,500 KrisFlyer Miles by spending just S$50 in the first 3 months upon card approval.
American Express runs a number of attractive promotions from time to time and it requires cardholders to save these offers to their credit cards. American Express Singapore Airlines Credit Card holders can now earn 4 bonus KrisFlyer miles per S$1 spent on Scoot ticket purchases for flights departing from Singapore at flyscoot.com from 19 March 2019 to 18 June 2019. As always, this offer is limited to successfully registered cards only so make sure you log-in to your American Express app to save it now!
Last week, I wrote about the opportunity to earn an additional 20,000 Membership Rewards (MR) Points on top of the spend bonus (applicable to all new American Express Platinum Card members) of 75,000 MR Points when you use my unique referral link. American Express has now changed this offer to 40,000 bonus MR points (equivalent to at least 25,000 miles) for spending S$5,000 within the first 3 months of card approval.
If you are currently collecting Qantas Frequent Flyer Points or you would simply like to extend the validity of your point, you can now do so on on Mileslife! From now until 11 April 2019, you will be able to earn up to 10,000 bonus Qantas Points through reward and welcome bonuses.
United Airlines is currently running a bonus on miles purchase (and gifting) until 25 March 2019 - eligible members will be able to purchase United Airlines MileagePlus Miles and get up to 70,000 bonus miles. Miles are typically priced at USD 35 per 1,000 block and there is a 7.5% tax recovery fee that will be levied upon the final amount. While some may argue that these miles may not be exceedingly useful in this part of the world, it may be extremely useful if you are planning some long-distance travel.
