As you may remember, your Mileage Plan account may only be credited with up to a maximum of 150,000 miles acquired through Points.com in a calendar year but members with elite status (e.g. MVP, MVP Gold and MVP Gold 75K Mileage Plan) have no annual limit on the number of miles which may be purchased or gifted through Points.com. Ben from One Mile at a Time speculated that awards on Singapore Airlines is imminent and even though we do not know what the redemption will look like at the time of writing, it is safe to say that a 50% bonus is probably one of the largest bonuses that we have seen in a while with regards to Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles.

The maximum number of miles that you can purchase in each transaction is 60,000 miles but with the 50% bonus right now, this will take your total to 90,000 miles for the same price of USD 1,773.75. In fact, if you own an OCBC VOYAGE Card, buying 40,000 miles will trigger the 50% bonus (giving you a total of 60,000 miles) and it will also give you a complimentary limousine ride (and give you 2.4 miles per dollar) with the newly-reduced minimum spend for free transfers.
