Each Marriott Bonvoy member may purchase (or be gifted) up to 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points per calendar year and the usual price for these points is USD 12.50 per 1,000 block. However, under the 25% promotion, you can purchase them at USD 9.38 per 1,000 block if you purchase the minimum required to trigger the discount. In my case, all I have to do is to purchase at least 5,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points to trigger the 25% discount. If you are looking to purchase the maximum number of points, 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points will cost you USD 468.75 after factoring in the 25% discount.
