The wait is over - there is a brand new Marriott Bonvoy promotion that will give you 1,500 bonus points with every stay (2-night minimum) between 02 July 2019 and 16 September 2019. Registration is required and you will have to register by 02 September 2019 (do it now so you will not forget!).

As mentioned above, after registering for the global promotion, you will earn 1,500 bonus points per stay on stays of two or more nights, starting with your first stay. All stays have to been completed between 02 July 2019 and 16 September 2019 across all participating Marriott Bonvoy properties. While this promotion is not as attractive as the previous one that was offering double base points, it is still a nice bonus if you already have stays planned.
American Express Singapore has announced a significant devaluation to the Membership Rewards programme effective 23 February 2026. Transfers to major airline partners like Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific will require 25% more points, while transfers to Emirates will require 50% more. A temporary foreign currency spending bonus for Platinum Card members has also been announced.
