No More Emirates First Class Award Space for Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Members - Book By 31 March 2021
Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles are amongst some of the most valuable airline miles in the industry and I have personally utilised them quite extensively for travel in Business Class on Japan Airlines and Cathay Pacific. While Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members have had access to Emirates' First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class inventory for the longest time, it appears that First Class award travel bookings with Emirates will be discontinued from 01 April 2021.

First Class on Emirates is definitely something to behold and it should be on everyone's bucket list (especially if you are an aviation geek). While the travel date can be for later next year, all bookings for First Class on Emirates using Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles must be made by 31 March 2021. This is not something that is out of the ordinary as other airlines like Singapore Airlines actually restrict partner access to their First Class award inventory - you will only be able to redeem KrisFlyer Miles for Suites and First Class.
Alaska Airlines will be joining the oneworld alliance officially on 31 March 2021 and members will soon have more options when it comes to utilising their Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles.
