Do remember that the S$350 cash bonus will only apply if you apply for the Citi Cash Back+ Card via SingSaver from 14-19 February 2020 as an eligible new customer only. Citibank is also running its own acquisition promotion to offer a bonus cash back rate of 4.5% for the first S$5,000 eligible spend made during the promotional period (three months from the date of card approval) but the additional earn rate of 2.9% (since there is no cap on the base earn rate of 1.6%) is capped at S$145. In other words, there is really no reason why you should pick Citibank's own offer over SingSaver's ridiculously generous cash bonus.
When applying for the Citi Cash Back+ Card on SingSaver as an eligible new customer, you will get S$350 cash bonus (transferred to your bank account via PayNow) and this does not require you to spend anything. Citibank's own promotion might look great on paper but it pales in comparison to SingSaver's offer since it not only requires you to spend S$5,000 in the first three months but that bonus cashback rate is also capped at S$145 (S$205 less than what SingSaver is offering from 14-19 February 2020).
