Emirates to Reduce Chauffeur-drive Benefit in Some Cities from 16 February 2020 - Calculation Based on Actual Distance Instead of Radius
Emirates has a fantastic Business Class product and one of the greatest benefits is the complimentary chauffeur-drive benefit which comes with the flights - you will be chauffered to-and-from the airport when you book an eligible Business or First Class ticket.

Emirates ran a fantastic deal earlier this year and I managed to book myself a flight in Business Class for approximately 25% lower than what it typically costs. When I went in to manage my reservation this morning, I realised that there has been a slight tweak to the way Emirates calculates the distance in which the complimentary chauffeur-drive benefit is offered.
As I will be traveling to the US in a couple of months, I noticed that Emirates used to provide a complimentary airport transfer service for up to 50 miles radius. While Emirates still offers the first 50 miles free for eligible Business Class and First Class passengers, this is now based on actual driven distance instead of a radial one. To be honest, most passengers will probably not be affected as 50 miles is quite a lot of distance to cover. However, if you do have a long car ride planned, you might want to know that this benefit will be revised slightly for tickets issued on and after 16 February 2020.
