The Alcoholic's Dream Staycation: Free-flowing Veuve Clicquot All-day at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore's Valley Wing - S$231 Nett per Adult

Now before you decide that S$785++ is a lot to pay for a single night (well, it is but read on anyway), you should know that the aforementioned price comes with two rooms (not just one!). If you gather your alcohol-loving friends, it works out to just S$231 nett per person per night and the Double Fun, Double Savings room package comes with daily buffet breakfast at The line for two as well as late check-out at 2:00PM. Now there are other rooms (in the Tower and Garden Wing) that are cheaper but if you love your Champagne and having it free-flow throughout the day (from 11:00AM) sounds like a dream, you will want to pick the rooms in the Valley Wing.

When I stayed in a Valley Wing Deluxe Room four years ago, I wasn't particularly won over by the interiors (it was slightly dated and could do with some refurbishment) but what stood out for me personally was the fact that the Champagne Bar served complimentary Champagne, wines, beers, soft drinks as well as juices throughout the day after breakfast (or after 11:00AM to be exact). They used to pour Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut but they have switched over to the Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV ever since.

Honestly, a night in one of Singapore's most well-known luxury hotel, in the most exclusive wing where you get to enjoy complimentary Champagne and alcoholic beverages throughout the day for just S$231 nett (so long you find 3 other alcoholic-friends to share the cost) is really a steal.
