A minimum of 5,000 points must be purchased in a single transaction in order to trigger the 30% bonus. As a kind reminder, World of Hyatt members can purchase up to 55,000 points per calendar year and additional bonus points (i.e. those you get with the 30% bonus) awarded do not count towards this maximum. Additionally, members can also receive up to 55,000 points per calendar year. 1,000 World of Hyatt points are typically priced at USD 24 but with the 30% bonus, this reduces the cost per 1,000 block to USD 18.46.
